Stronger lambda error (#4771)

Browse source 
* Make sure lambdaError() make the test fail in all circumstances.

* Fix existing errors on tests.

* Uniformize the way we are creating class under test.

* Cleanup

* Fix typo

* Fix failing test after rebase.
